What equipment do you
provide that is required
by the Forest Service?
The Forest Service
requires a porta-potty,
a fire pan, a mesh
strainer fine enough to
filter coffee grounds
(to be used to strain
food particles and other
materials from your
dishwater and
gray-water), a bucket
and a shovel for fire
fighting, a life jacket
for each person, and
patching equipment. The
Main Salmon also
requires a sand stake.
Blackadar Boating

accommodate
approximately 60 uses.
We also provide a fire
pan, shovel, strainer,
bucket, repair kit, and
life jackets for each
group and a sand stake
for the Main Salmon.
Do you provide food
buying and packing?
The Saveway
Market here in Salmon will do food shopping for
you. You supply them with a food list and they will
shop for you. Be sure to place your orders
early. They have provided this service for
years and are very easy to work with.
Their phone
number is (208) 756-2822. (They are closed on
Sundays).
